What does the Spanish (ESL) setting do?
With the ESL setting active, students can hover over instructional and button text to see the Spanish translation. This can help students struggling with English to better understand the instructions for Type to Learn.
Note: All text and words typed by the students will still be in English.
How to Enable ESL Support
ESL support can be activated for a whole Group, or individual students.
If you need help adding students to groups, please see this article.
To turn the ESL setting on, first navigate to your building, then click the “TTL Settings” link in the left-side navigation. Select your group (or individual) and update the Language option under Accessibility Settings:
Once you click “Save Changes”, the Spanish-translated popups will now be active for anyone in that Group that signs in to Type to Learn.
